AVK GUMMI acquires majority shareholding in Gravlund Rubber Solutions

It is with great pleasure that we can announce today that Gravlund will become part of the AVK GUMMI group

“The acquisition consolidates AVK GUMMI’s position in the market as a significant player in existing and new business areas,” says Peter Lorentzen, CEO of AVK GUMMI.

“I look forward to linking our companies even closer together and in that way benefiting from each other's competencies, and I look forward to continuing as CEO of GRS and developing the collaboration,” says Mads Gravlund, CEO and owner of GRS. Over the years, Gravlund has cultivated strong business areas within industry, transport, offshore, medical and defense. Business areas that require good solutions and documentation.

It is important to emphasize to our customers that it is “business as usual”, also after the acquisition. “Our customers can be completely confident that we will not change compounds, or anything else, from one day to the next. It is clear that in the long term we will exploit the advantages of having compound development and mixing inhouse. This will benefit our customers, so that we can continue to develop our cooperation,” says Mads Gravlund.
